“To honor and celebrate the outstanding participants of the Eurovision Song Contest the Marcel Bezençon Award has been handed out annually since 2002. It is named after the founder of the Eurovision Song Contest — Marcel Bezençon.”

The Trophy.

The hand blown glass trophy is made every year at Stockholm Glass Studio, situated in the popular open-air museum Skansen. The original trophy design was created by Karin Hammar and in 2021 the design was updated by Martin Ehrensvärd, when he became part-owner of Stockholm Glass Studio.
